99.5 or 99 a4 2.8l

What are some of the differences between a 99 and a 99.5 a4 2.8l and what is the best way to tell the two apart. My buddy told me that the 99.5 model has the lighted sunroof buttons and the 99 doesn't. Thanks

that's only the outside. The interior of the 99.5 is much better, too.

specifically the HVAC unit and the fog light buttons, and cup holders

99 and earlier cars have all red instrument cluster = cool

99.5 and later don't = not cool

Not true.

My 99.5 has the red lighting in the cluster and console.
