I thought the headlights on my new 99.5 A4 didn't go out far enough. I raised the headlights several turns of the height adjusters. Much better light! I get no one flashing at me, so lights must not be dazzling oncoming drivers. These headlights are much better than my 96 A4.

There are white plastic adjusters behind the headlights. The center ones are for the height. The outside ones are accessed through a hole in the metal and are for angle. The adjusters will accept a hex key or a small phillips head screwdriver. I pulled up to my garage (level surface) and moved the light up. I could see the change as I did it. If you go too far, people will flash you. Just try it till you like the light and no one flashes you!

I had the same height problems. I am wondering if the need to raise the lights is more common to sport suspensions?
Wondering if Audi needs to Tech Bulletin dealers. I thing the aiming of the projector bulbs is much more critical then older beams.
So guys...is yours a 99.5 sport suspension or not!

Actually I'd like to have the lights from my 96 back - these are junk.
Go down a hill and try to see beyond the bottom - there is no light vertically upward beyond the cutoof and even after raising them - the high beams have no where near the range of my 96.
