99 a4 1.8 no start when hot. cranks but will not fire

Default 99 a4 1.8 no start when hot. cranks but will not fire
ses light is on not on, starts after sitting for a little bit, just wont start right after, im thinking possibly an ect. has anyone else experienced this

Default perhaps you should find someone with a VAG-COM...
mine was the coolent temperature sensor, but a scan could narrow it down for you.

i'd look at the fuel pressure regulator, it wont throw a fault but if the fuel press is bleeding down it can give you a no start when hot

2nd. I have a coolant temp. sensor code and the same problem...it fires eventually though.

Default i have access to an 5052 but have to drive an hour to get to it
i really dont want to waste half a day for someone who just calls me for free help on there car

3rd. happened to me a couple years ago. replaced and fixed problem IMMEDIATELY.

replace the sensor....you'll be fine.
