Default 99 A4 Smoking Real Bad..HELP!!

Hi everyone! My Audi started to smoke real bad. Smoke is white but smells very strong. It even does it when the car is cool. The turbo has been replaced recently as well as engine rebuilt. I took the spark plugs out and you can notice oil residues. Compression test was made and is throwing 160-170 psi in all cylinders. Any Ideas?? Turbo istallation? Any tests that I should make before starting to spend money?
Thank you!

Smoke is coming from exhaust. At first, I could not hear the turbo operating (turbo was brand new). I took the car for a ride and after that the turbo started to make a whining noise but still could not feel the boost. Little after that I took it for another 10 mile ride and there the smoke!

When it smokes - stop the car ad smell the exhaust, if smell is sweet then you have a coolant leak into head and it may be a bad head gasket or a leak from a crack. If not, then you will have more trouble tracking it down, but it may be a cheaper fix.

Start with a leak down test.

Is the car overheating at all? Oil on the plugs is bad but if there was an internal oil leak the smoke would be more blue.

hey im having close to the same problem. i recently bought a 97 a4 1.8t quattro and it recently had a new turbo installed. its the same size turbo the all the internals were replaced. and now the temp bounces from around 1/4 to 1/2 as well as white smoke comes out of the exhaust. its not sweet and there is no antifreeze in the oil. when the car idles for around 10 min the temp slowly increases. white smoke comes out the exhaust. its not condensation because the car is when this happens. if anyone can help that would be awesome and sorry for stealing this thread!
