i've tried askin this at the vortex but i didn't get any responses but.....can someone please guide me in buying the right exhaust for my car. i have a 1997 2.8q. i don't want to spend more than $500 on it. i want one thats not loud (jus something that will let people know that my car isn't stock)but not stock sounding. i've heard about an S4 exhaust or jus my stock exhaust with bigger piping and a removed resonator. what exactly is the resonator and what performance and sound gains can i expect?

Cost is in the 500 region

I have the supersprint muffler which is almost exactly the same as the Remus. Just the muffler without even a resonator was 450 bucks. I ran straight pipe to the muffler so it was relativly cheap.
