what brand is the best for clutch replacement
Hey i was wondering if the clutches from ebay are good quality or no? And i dont understand that of the stage 1,2,3 whats the best option for me, i have an 1997 audi a4 quattro 2.8 b5 with 203 miles on it

Ebay doesn't sell anything. Since it is just a bunch of individual sellers, it is impossible to say.
I just bought flywheel and clutch kit for my 2000 2.8. After shopping around, Amazon had the best deal for a Luk clutch that was identical to the original. I think I paid 300 for the flywheel and 150 for the kit that contained a disc, pressure plate and throwout bearing.

You will not be happy with a stage 3 clutch in a stock 2.8. The higher the stage, the more grab force it has. It will grab way to hard and fast, making nice smooth start hard as hell if not impossible. They are meant for cars pushing big power so the clutch doesn't slip. Just buy an OEM clutch, Sachs, LUK, and Valeo make nice kits.
