A4 2.8Q mods?
What is the best mod for a 2.8? I notice the flat spot when accelerating. I have a custom made cone filter which helped a lot. I guess the chip will also, where is the best place to get a chip for the 2.8?

A chip for a 30v will only give you about 10-15 hp...
But when chipping you definetely should do exhaust too!
K&N air filter helps a bit too.
From all the reading and posting I've done over the past year, 2.8 people don't mod too much:
1. Not really needed.
2. Not manufacturer mod-friendly like the 1.8t
Aside from tons of body kits, lighting changes, misc interior, wheels... and the occasional PES supercharger...
It is simply not very cost-effective to get seriously into modding a 2.8. But if you wanna fit the 2.7's bi-turbo to our cars, I'd gladly help you convert it... hehe
I think I'd trade up to an S4, for modding performance, which I plan to do.
Turbos would be extremely expensive to put onto our 2.8z, not very user-friendly; plus they're already R&D'd on the S4z...
I still love the shiza outta my A4 tho.
