I bought my A4 2000 model 2 months ago and have been really excited with it.
Last Sunday I noticed that, all of a sudden, the On-board Diagnostics computer display
panel (the one in the middle showing ouside temp, gas left etc) went blank. The
only panel on the display that was lit was the gear panel. This continued throughout
the day but on Moday morning it came back to live. Has anybody experienced
any problems that may be related to this....I hope this is not some sort of electrical
problem that is next to impossible to track down.

This happened to me about four month ago, and the computer stayed dead. It is covered by warranty and I am getting my replaced when a new part arrives at the dealer.
