it all depends on location. I have heard that Boston is pricier than most of the other parts of the country. ~5% over is usually reasonable.
Also, check out the link below and you will find the 2001 A4 price sheet. Xenons _are_ offered on the 2001 model - it's on the price list.
The real issue is going to be the wait. The 2001 build started in early May and won't show up in dealerships until late June or early July. If you order one now, I would guess delivery sometime in Sept/Oct.<p>'01 1.8TSX Tip White/Opal (hoping for July)<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m/a4/msgs/254535.phtml">https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m/a4/msgs/254535.phtml</a</li></ul>

deoending on what your time is worth and where you are, you may get another coupla hundred bucks off.......as for the xenons, I am looking at my VIN inquiry right now, and the code for xenons is PX3....so yeah, you can get them
my order entry date was 5/23 and my dealer says in 2-2.5 months, it should be here....<p>'01 1.8T Avant - India Red

You can do a little better if you really haggle but, is it worth the effort to save a hundred bucks? Up to you.
The Xenon are still available. The dealer needs to check the current price sheets.

You can do better. I ordered MY 2001 on 4/1 paying $1000 over invoice. Mine is a manual but with all the other options that you were quoted on. Yes, including Xenons.

anyways, Ira Audi seems to think that xenons are not available but every dealer in CT says they are and are showing me their order sheet. also, many 2000s are left and people are able to get them for 1000 over invoice.

Bojan,
Go to Burlington: Pass & Weiss, they do offer the Xenons. I don't have them cuz the dealer found out too late and my car was already in production.
