Hey Everyone,
Ok let me tell you the story. Tonight I was on my way home, and I needed some gas. So I pulled into a local gas station and filled up with some good go go juice (93 octane =)) and I saw that my car was pretty dirty. It has been raining the last couple of days and we finally had a clear day today, so I thought I would wash my car. But I didn't have time for a hand wash, and usually when I don't have time I'll take it to the high pressure place and use quarters to wash the car, but today I decided to try something else. The gas station I was at, had a touchless high pressure car wash so I thought hey let's try it out, it can't be that bad because it's touchless, even though I know alot of you the only way to clean your car is by hand..sorry..., so I took it in there and washing the car was fine. It did a really good job, probably better than me with the high pressure quarter machine. But the question, and thing that worries me is the drying. Near the exit on the roof of the car wash building, there is a dryer that rotates in a circular motion and I was driving through that. Nothing bad at first, but as it got to my roof, it just started vibrating and kind of thundering I guess, maybe from the sound of the air, but it like made my moonroof vibrate and I got worried if I caused any permanent damage to the roof or moonroof. It vibrated and howled I drove through there pretty quick after that, but I was jsut wondering if I did anything bad? The wash was pretty good the car is nice and clean, but I think from now on I'lll stick to hand wash and quarter wash for the rest of the car's life. Anywayz so what do you guys think? Thanks everyone!!
