Default A4 different suspension than S4?

I have been reading about people saying that the suspension is tighter for the s4. I am wondering if the suspension is different or is the perception due to the fact that the s4 comes standard with 225/45/17 setup?

Default I used to have a A4 w/225/24/17s and now have an S4

The S4 suspension is firmer, definitely. I used to have a 2.8 with a sports package. Then, aftermarket springs/shocks/swaybars/225.45.17's. The S4 is firmer than the 2.8 sports package, and also the sports package with the 225s. It is about as firm as the aftermarket springs/shock combo, maybe just a tad softer has has more suspension travel.
