A4 Exhaust mod... Best performance gain
What is the best, in terms of performance gain, exhaust mod... I'm looking into APRs cat-back exhaust, what are some options? Also, will new headers give me much improvement (HP, etc)..

No header to speak of for the 1.8. Some ported manifolds sold. Don't know if the tubular manifolds
are still sold(had issues with cracking) APR has a new manifold but only for their Stage 3 and 3+.

I posted this as an answer yesterday, but to repeat, FYI: the manifold is....
The most restrictive part of the OE exhaust system. I have a tubular header as part of my supercharger set-up.

Supersprint tried to engineer a header for the 1.8T...
And what they found was that there was nothing that they could come up with that would significantly improve performance. I think the most gain they got was something like 3HP, certainly not enough to justify the cost of a header.
