Default A4 handling over Integra

A4 IMO is the best looking car out there. I hear lot of good things about A4, especially the handling. I own an Accord and thought it has a pretty good handling (comparing to cars like Camry) until I test drove the Integra. Now, I am curious about the A4. Can anyone give me an insight for a handling comparison between A4 and Integra? Is Integra's handling close to the A4's? Or is A4 just way better? Thanks.

Default I have both.....

....an A4 1.8TQMS and an Integra GSR. The GSR is lighter and more nimble, but not as predictable or solid as the A4. The GSR also has tons of torque steer. The A4 can acheive awesome cornering speeds on long sweeping corners, and the steering feels much better. Its also almost completely neutral, vs the GSR which transitions from over- to under-steer frequently.

I think the A4 handles much better, although the GSR might have an advantage in very tight twisties. The A4 with the sport package still needs stiffer springs and shocks, but its a very good stock setup.

The GSR is my wifes car and her next car will be german if I can help it. Used M3, S4, or 323ci. The GSR is a good, fast car, but its still just a civic and reeks of civic class materials on the inside. I'd rather have a GTI 1.8T for the same price as a GSR.

Default I had 90 Integra GS and now 00 A4 1.8T...

In my opinion my Audi (w/sport package) handles much better than my old integra. The integra (stock)handled well but the audi is just so much better.
Arjun

Default i had a fully tuned 95 Integra with neuspeed shocks and bilsteins.now have An A4

Of course my integra handled better saying that my A4 is still stock with out the sport suspension, but it is quattro so i can feel the big difference with grip!! i know if i put springs and shocks on the A4 it would probaly out handle almost any car including my previous integra. I was impressed with the A4 even when its stock without sport suspension.... very good stiff set up for a stock oem suspension.

Default Had a '95 GS-R, now have a '01 A4...(more)

The A4 handles better in corners due to the quattro. It's a nice smooth lean as opposed to a sudden and jerky body roll with the Integra. However, I feel the Integra's steering was more precise and a little "heavier", which i tend to like. The A4's steering seems just a bit lighter and requires just a touch more driver input to keep her on the staright and narrow. But man, it's fun to throw this car into a corner and feel it go "flat". Drive on....
Roc71
