Default A4 Radio in Safe Mode

I replace the battery and radio is on Safe Mode. Anyone now what should I do?

Yes, read your radio manual, you need to put in the radio code..

You might get lucky like I did and find that the radio card is blank. In which case, you'd have to drive to a dealer to have the radio pulled, the serial number recorded with the VIN, so they can find a number that works.

I'm more lucky than you. For some reason my brother lost the card and the user manual.

it is not there how did this myth start
do you know your radio code?
if you do , do you see it on any of those numbers on the sticker in the tire well?
I wish it was there because my radio is in safe mode and I do not know the code nor do I have the tool to remove the radio
