Default A4 rear brake upgrade (proposed)

Can anyone confirm that the proposed A6 255mm rear rotors will fit under the existing brake water shield?
Found only one topic in the archives that sort of hints that this will work.
Best regards

Default Doubtfull. There isn't very much clearance with the stock 245mm rotors.

256mm rotors are also vented, which makes them almost twice as thick.

Default Not sure which rotors you plan to use, but S4 rears fit fine. You just need to push them back...

...a little. Mild hammering takes care of it.
