I posted about my A4 2.8l stalling I changed the crank shaft sensor, engine coolant sensor, cleaned the EGR and throttle body. Then I took my fuel pump out on the top part that mounts to the tank there's 2 plug ins I noticed the posts were corroded I cleaned them now my car runs great is this a common thing? I have had my 1997 A4 2.8 for 1 month.

Since you have found some corroded electrical contacts, expect that there must be more. A standard thing that I do, at least every couple of years when doing the brake fluid and air filter changes, is to disconnect every electrical connector that you can reach. Spray the contacts with WD-40 or similar contact cleaner. You might avoid problems with O2 and MAF sensors this way.

Steep incline? If that is what you meant, loosing power under load might be a high resistance (clogged) fuel filter, etc. But get it scanned because there might be a clue in the ECU.

It's where the EGR passage in the manifold makes a 90 degree bend vertically.
All the crud collects in there, takes a while to dig it all out.

That's what I ment . But today I put a new fuel pump in and drove it. On flat ground it ran fine on a upgrade it acted up again. I'm running out of things to replace. I did crank sensor, cam shaft, engine temp sensor, cleaned EGR and port, cleaned MAF sensor. New fuel pump. Only thing I can think of is fuel filter.
