A4 vs Integra GSR
Anyone know who pulls faster 1/4 mile times? The '01 A4 1.8T or the Acura 1.8 GSR? My friend has a GSR and he claims he can kick my ***. He says Acura is a far superior car company. I tend to disagree

GSR will SPANK a stock 1.8t. Power to weight for the GSR is very good.
170hp vs 165hp the GSR with it's 800lbs or so weight advantage will take an A4 to school... now run uphill and our torque just might make up for the weight.

Stock the GSR will win, but chipped....I dont even think you can call it a race what I did to a friends GSR.
but then again, how well do you and he drive? I have seen cars win races that they should not have one because of driver skill

You'll have trouble beating him even with some mods if he isn't stock.
I run about even (a little gain over 1/4 mile) with my friend who has a stock GSR, and I'm Stage II.

What you need to do is get him in the open.
Off the line, the integra is lighter, and the audi has too much in drivetrain losses. In the quarter mile I would give the edge to the integra. Once you hit 3rd gear in the A4, the odds start to even up. Over 80mph, the integra loses steam quickly, while the A4 will keep pulling. It also takes some finesse to launch quattro, vs. an integra.
