Default Educate me, please...

What is the benefit of using A8 rotors? Is it cosmetic, or is there an increase in braking function to be had from the switch?

Not to be a moron, but I'd really like to know. Maybe it's something I should consider trying.

Thanks! Louie

Default A8 rotors are larger...

...excuse my lack of a scientific explanation, but basically you move the calipers out a little bit with the TT caliper brackets to accomodate the A8 rotors. improved brake feel and less fade is the result....it's definitely not a cosmetic mod. it's a gread mod if you want better braking, but don't have $1500-2000 to drop on the APR or Stoptech kits. good luck..

Default BIRA 1 brackets are designed for the 312mm rotor. RPI also makes brackets for the Wilwoods......

but they are NOTHING like the BIRA monsters.... you could hijack a plane with one of these things!!

Are you done with the motor and now looking to "mod" the brakes?
