Default Quick Question: What Tire width is IDEAL to go with?

I'm about to purchase tires for my 18" rims....was thinking about going 225...and I DONT want to roll fenders. Will 225 fit the bill, thanks.

Yes, 225/40/18 are IDEAL.

Default *Really* depends on the manufacturer....Michelin PS2's in 235 was a no-go for me...

I tried them on my LM's....no way in hell. My front fenders are already rolled. The tires rubbed front & rear....even over the smallest dips. Its 225 for me from now on....its just not worth the extra rubber to take the chance.
