ABS/Brake light issue

I have a 99.5 1.8T Quattro. I've been having this issue where my ABS & Brake warning lights have been turning on and off, at the same time, during different points of my driving. I recently had the ABS looked at a mechanic, which I thought he fixed, but the warning light keeps coming back. And as far as the Brake warning light, it isn't the brake fluid level, because that's fine. The fact that they come on at the same time makes me feel they're one related problem.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

If so it's that the car has no "link" with the ABS computer and it sets the lights off. The ABS module needs to be repaired either by "Module Masters" or "BBA Reman Inc" in Mass.
Search the forums for "ABS problems", or "ABS light beeps" or even the two companies and you will find a WEALTH of info.
Also if you have not already check the FAQ, it's the little link located in the upper left corner of the main forum page screen......

Yes exactly, the ABS light comes on solid and the Brake light blinks and beeps. Thanks for the help.

mine is up there right now, hopefully it will be back today or tomorrow. Have somebody run a vagcom on the car check the ABS controller. If you have a fault code for "intermittent contact with controller" you have a broken wire in the module. You can try to fix it yourself, doing the "Russian Mod", spend around $300 and a couple of hours of you own time and send it to Module Masters, or take it to the stealership and get *** raped for ~$3000!!
BTW it is safe to driving with the module removed, you just will not have ABS brakes.
