Default ABS light on after brake job

So I just got done putting in rear wheel bearings, rotors, and pads on my 1999.5 fwd 1.8t 5 speed. I didn't touch the ABS at anytime but came on right away when i drove the car. any suggestions? There was plenty of metal shavings stuck to the sensor but i forgot to clean those off, not sure if that means anything or not. The light has never came on for me until now. Any idea on what couldve happened or how i can fix this? Thanks!

There is an ABS "tone ring" that must be transferred (carefully) from the old rotors to the new ones. If you did transfer the rings then you may have damaged them in the process.

Is that the vented looking disk on the back side of the rotor?

Yes. Sometimes they need to be heated up to get them out. If you can't get it out without damaging it we can order you a replacement. 443-614-149-A $24.38. Good luck and let us know how it works out!
