I recently had problems with my ABS light, I found that my front sensor had a short. After I replaced it (abs light went off).
After driving on the highway(65 - 75 mph) my abs light came on again. I turn the car off and start it and the light is back off. My Vag is telling me it is the right rear sensor. I have taken off my rotor etc.. My inside brake pad is worn pretty thin. I cleaned the sensor and the "ring" attached to the rotor(rusted). Now my now the only time I get an ABS light is on the highway at about 70 mph. Anyone have any sugestions? Could it be the pads?
Thanks

I guess the wisest thing to do would be first to replace the pads, and if the problem persists to replace the wheel speed sensor on that one.
I was asking because I got code 01203 and had to replace the ABS control module unit, but this does not seem to apply to your case.
