Hi, All,
I have a 2000 A4 1.8TQM and am curious about accessing the on-board diagnostics through the climate control system. I've read the FAQ, but, when I press the increase fan speed button while holding down the recirculation button, all I get is faster recirculating air. Does the climate control system have to be in a certain state to access the OBD, or is there something else that I'm missing?
Thanks,
Todd

...it worked for me a few days ago; although now you've got me confused on which button I pressed.

Ah, that must be it. I seem to have been misinterpreting the FAQ. I'll try it again this evening.
Thanks,

yeah, i tried that. it's the temp up and down button that cycles though the codes.
to get to that point, you have to hold the recycle air button and then the up vent arrow button.
the MY2000 has 87 or 89 codes. in the faq there is only 59 or something. does the MY2000 have new parameters to access????????<p>2000 A4 1.8TQMS
