Default Accident advice / damage assesment help

Got caught last night in light snow in the city with my summer tires and smacked a curb. Started snowing after I arrived at a party or I would have not driven, I know my tires and snow do not mix!

Anyway I caught a curb at about a 20 degree angle on the front left (driver) side wheel. The wheel is toast, cracked just in from the edge. But the car seems damaged too ... slight vibration in the steering wheel and a loud snapping noise at near full right crank. Seems fine on left hand turning. What am I likely in for at the dealership tomorow ?

Maybe damaged a control arm? Plus the new wheel, of course.

Wheel is obvious, but whats the price tag on a control arm?

Default I know someone who had a similar accident

He smacked up the wheel, bent a tie rod and damaged the steering rack.
He had the wheel and tie rod fixed independently, then go the steering rack replaced under warranty.

Default Damn QR. Sorry to hear that. Didn't realize you Vancouverites got snow this weekend.

Hope everything works out. I'm not exactly sure how ins. works in Canada, but I'd try to avoid claiming it if possible. Single car accident claims are hell on personal rates here in WA! (Believe me, I know)
