Default Ace Lola bending issue...

Will 18" Lolas stand up in daily driving/commuting?
Any comments are appreciated
Thanks

Default I wouldn't get the 18s for Michigan roads.

I have the 17s, and I've only bent one (on a HORRIFIC road ridge in a construction zone), but to go with 18s in Michigan I'd recommend a quality forged (or at least semi-forged) rim, like Volk, Racing Hart, Fikse, SSR, or BBS.

I'll second that...my 17's are doing just fine, heck here in MI you can't be too safe!! :-)

Default they're discontinued .. and by far one of the strongest wheels out there for the price ..

i have the 17"s and they weigh in around 22lbs. not too bad. they are STRONG. i worked in san fran for a few years and now i'm in houston. neither are known for smooth streets.

i've gone over holes inches deep positive that i cracked/bent a rim. nope.

oh .. have had them on for about 2years now.

hope that helped.

Default Yep - sucks huh. If you bend one you'll have to get it fixed. Sux considering you used to......

be able to simply buy a new one for $140
