Default I just had one till......

an old lady drove her 98 caddy into the drivers side door goin 40 (It was probably closer to like 20 but still)(oww my ribs) and pushed me up under an explorer. They had to pull me out on a back board and everything, and when they pulled me out I had a tear streamin from my eye and the paramedic asked me where it hurts and I said no where I just love that car. I had it tuned perfectly all custom stuff (cuz they dont make jack for em) I even beat a Z28 (he probably would have had me but he pussed out at the end so I still call it a win)

Default Added weight? - Only 82 pounds difference.

I had a 4 door GSR and loved it. A very unique car since most people had the two door.

Anway, according to Edmunds, the 2 door is 2672 and the four door is 2756.

yea 82 punds dosent sound like alot but I used to own a 98 Japanese spec Type-R (I like the Japanese body style better cuz its somethin new) with like 12 other guys and it was a purely drag car I was incharge of weight reduction and I took like 40lbs just out of the cabin (carpet, seats, upolstery, tar on the floor) we even took off one of the parking brake cables for a measly 2lbs that was the worst 6hrs of my life and it ended up hurting use more than helping us (no burn outs and basically the e-brake became a joke) Ahh well whatever

How much did the weight reduction actually help?

Default If they offered the GSR in either of the two silvers, I may have bought one

but by that time, they were in their 6th year of that body style, so prob not. Anyway, I couldn't believe they didn't offer it in sivler - WTF?
