Default Advice Needed---asap

chipped my car in Feb, took it in recently for the 60k service and brake job. when it came back there was no chip in ECU. now the only thing i have is a receipt saying i had the chip done and an ecu with no chip. what happens if the dealer says he doesn't have it? it's no longer under warranty the only reason i take it to this dealer is it's the only audi dealership within 20+ miles.

Default No chip in the ECU??? Does your car run???

They removed the physical chip itself, or did they reprogram it back to stock??

Default Re:

got apr chip installed, noticed lack of performance thought it was the bypass valve going bad, changed it friday night myself and noticed some performance came back but not like when the chip was in. got the wild hair to open the ecu and take a look. talked to a few guys at apr and they said the chip should be visible because it's soldered onto the board. this looks like the stock board.

Default EMCS ? If so they likely pulled the power to service the car and it reverted back to the stock prog.

Did you check that? Or, did they swap ECUs on you?
