Default Linky on the write up

All together for the whole thing I think I spent

auto rx - free got as Christmas gift ($25)
kero - $10 @ Lowes or Home Depo
2 x 5 L of walmart supertech dyno ($6x2=$12)
2 X 5L of motocraft dyno ($20) -
4 x Cheap small Fram oil filter ($3x4=$12)

After that is going to be the real oil change with syn which is going is going to cost

Mobil 1 - ($22)
Big Oil filter ($6)

Its really worth it for what it does and JUST getting better mpg is worth it in itself besides extending the life of internals.

Auto Rx Treatment

Default It should be fine if you are the first owner always used bigger filters

cool down turbo before turning off. The process even if expensive goes towards making auto rx work better. Even if you run it by itself I am sure it still would be great. Also auto rx is to be used with dyno oil only and not syn.

Default dash readout - but prior to that the readout was 32 under same condition

Hard to believe it made such a big diff - also the car back then had more weight like heavy *** rims and stock seats.

Default ah, so either way I'd have to flush my synthetic oil, gotcha...

well looks like I will be holding off a few months until I can hopefully do it right! Thanks for the pointers as well as link to his writeup.

Default down hill with a strong tail wind and the clutch pushed in? :)

I just filled up yesterday for $55 and averaging 20mpg city driving. I'm not happy!

Default No shipping costs. Frank just eliminated coupons and knocked a few $ off. Worthwhile, imo.

I added some to my Acura before driving ot off the lot w/9 miles on it. Break-in hot spots, lubricity, particle isolation. No complaints.
