After keeping my Marlins flag in my passenger rear window, now the window is broken!
I went to open the window and all I heard was this horrible scraping/grinding noise inside the door. The window wouldn't go up or down anymore, but it was still trying so I knew there was no fuse problems.
I opened up the door panel and saw the cable that goes up and down totally loose and small white plastic parts (looked like they were part of a pulley of some sort) sitting on the bottom of the inside of the door.
I was finally able to pull the window up so it would close and for now, to prevent me accidentally hitting the button and having the problem happen again, I unplugged the window motor in that door.
Has anyone eve come across this problem? Any easy fixes? The dealer wants $300 just for the motor...I'm not even sure if I could figure out how to replace it.
This blows.
