Default Aftermarket catalytic conveters any good?

Has anyone replaced their cat with an aftermarket version? I found a bunch of places selling DEC replacements really cheap. I did a search but there didn't seem to be a consesus on the quality of aftermarket cats in general. I am just suspect since the OEM cat is around 1200-1300 and the DEC cats are around 300. I just don't want to spend the money and end up still having performance issues.

Default forget about flow,,just make sure it fits exactly,,

no gains from high flow until stage 3 or 4. just make sure it fits right, I just got one for like 182.00. fits great.

Default Just don't use the gaskets they provide! Had to replace thier gaskets in less than 100 miles

BTW, I have about 35k on the random cat No CEL problems until recently. Not 100% sure if it is my cat. Going to autozone to get readout next time the CEL turn on.

Default Re: My high flow went in with my turbo kit, so I dont know if there way any difference...

no the ATP Stage 2 actually but with a GT28RS, with GT28R style housing, which will fit in a stock cat or in this case the direct bolt on random hi-flow ....

I dont see why not.. but a high flow on a natural aspirated... dont think it will make much of a difference..power wise..
