Default Are aftermarket control arms on par with OEM???
I am about to replace my front control arms and was wondering if it's ok to go with the sets of 8 that ECS or whoever has.

Default Can you elaborate or support this?
Are you basing this on personal experience with the "OEM-like" arms (Sidem) or maybe just on the company's past reputation? Just curious, as I figure there's gotta be a reason why they're not an OE supplier to Audi....

Default ecs-tuning.com had them for about $530.
BUT they are all sold out.

Default 2nd hand experience...
A friend of mine is running a pair that replaced a squeaky pair of uppers- The new ones are starting to squeak a little, so I chalk that up to OE quality =P

Default I think he's had them on the car for roughly 7 months or so. Not long.
As for brand... Not sure which one he specifically has, but I'm pretty sure they are *NOT* the ones ECS sells....
