Default Aftermarket GPS Install.

This is the handheld type that goes anywhere. Mine is the Garmin GPS II+. I removed the ashtray and passed the wires through. The wire for the dash mounted antenna is put in the little space from the fuse panel around to the middle. No wire visible.

I hook it up to my computer for map tracking and travel planner.

Default Yeah, the 3 nice gauges would come to like $500+

2 of them would basically be there for fillers, not useful to me. So I figured put something there that would be more versitile.

Default NOT easy. I had the console apart already.

First the radio and shift plate. Then the climate control (FRUSRATING) then the ash tray.

Default So did you go from the antenna to the fuse panel to the ashtray. (more)

I'm planning to do the same thing, but I'm going to use my Ipaq. I still need to do same thing with my wire. Can you please post most specifics on how the you passed the wire.

thanks!
