What kinds of speakers are you guys putting in your front doors? I cant find the dimensions anywhere.. From what I can tell, the selection is rather limited. I haven't pulled my door panel off but it sounds like the speakers are really shallow? My car has the stock Bose system in it but some of the speakers are blown.

Yea the issue is, the stock bose speakers were 2 ohm. If your running the stock radio, you have to replace them with 2 ohm speakers or they will be very quiet and not sound good. Most 4 inch speakers can be fitted to the front door panel without too much trouble. I purchased some 2 ohm infinity 4 inch speakers and they sounded very good, hard to find now though.
On my S4, I just buy good used bose speakers off ebay.
The bose rear speakers on Audi TT are exactly the same as the rear woofer speakers in our cars. The bose front door speakers from Old Audi 100/200 are same as ours, thats whats in my car, I parted one out and they sound great lol. One thing too, the dust covers seem to be what make the rear woofer speakers rattle. If the paper and foam are good, but it rattles, just carefully pry off the dust covers and then see how they sound. If they sound good, either glue them back on or leave them off.
