Air Filter upgrading question...
what do you think...should i just get a K&N drop in filter for my 98 2.8QMT 30v...or replace the whole Air intake and put in a LLTek Cold air intake? is there anything in between these two i could do? what would you do...thanks alot

do not use the K&N drop in, it is junk, if you are gonna use a drop in...
try to find a Mann filter, they are by far the best sealing and flitering while allowing a great deal of air to pass through. As a matter of fact the entire 12v forum, thanks in hole to UrS4(mance) are finding that any and all K&N's are basically junk. I have the lltek CAI on my 96 2.8, honestly i didnt see a hole lot of power gain from this. I recomend keeping the stock air box, drop in a mann and chip the ecu.

I just picked up an AFE filter from AMS...
and I'm pretty happy with the extra umph. But I'm running a 1.8T.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1990953.phtml">Link 2 AMS Post</a></li></ul>
