Default Airbag light malfunction

I posted on this a couple of weeks ago. While the car is cold, the airbag light stays on - eventually goes off after around 5 min depending on the outside temp. They checked codes via VAG-Com with no errors showing - so the thought is that it's a malfunctioning light switch in the instrument cluster board. The entire cluster is being replaced under warrantee - should have the car back tomorrow. I'll let you know if that solved the problem.

Default I believe I have heard of this before

Something to do with condensation inside the dashboard area...try using Stabilant 22A on your instrument cluster connectors to alleviate your problem.

Default Car's fixed ...

Dealer installed new instrument cluster (which wasn't the problem) along with an airbag control module (which was). Airbag system is now working perfectly. They also replaced my shot Bose front speaker. Other than replacing brake pads, all services were all covered by my extended Audi CPO warrantee. Audi of Huntingdon Valley (PA) did a terrific job getting the job done right the first time. Talk to Mark, Ray or Petr if you need service - good guys.
