Default Airbag light on. Vag-com points to control module. Anyone replace it? (searched - fnd a little info)

Note: I posted this in the VAG-COM forum, but there's not much traffic there now.

Airbag came on when warming up the car a few weeks back. When clearing, it just pops back up instantly.

8D0 959 655 G
Component and/or Version: Airbag Front+Kopf 1002
Software Coding: 00304
Work Shop Code: WSC 06335
1 Fault Found:
65535 - Internal Control Module Memory Error
00-10 - - - Intermittent

Am I going to need a new airbag module? Found some mention of clock spring or connector, but with that error I believe it's the module itself. Any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks.

Unfortunately I only have a crappy Penn Corp. Warrenty (68K on the odo). Hope it's cheap.

Default Looks like airbag control module. Anyone have some info (location of module, cost, used part ok)?

I'd like to be able to take care of this myself, although some of the audi electronics are new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

it,s not too bad but you have to remember the original coding to make it easier when you finish installing the new one
