Default Alarm Question

I am having some problems with my alarm module (located in the trunk). For some reason the alarm does not disable when the car is unlocked, but when I disconnect the alarm module, the power locks and windows do not work.

Is there any way to just disable the alarm without disabling the power locks and windows?

Thanks,
Nick

Default Hmm, I'm at work right now, but when I get home, I'll look up coding options to see.

In the mean time, have you tried disconnecting the battery for a bit, and then reconnecting it?

Default Well... I have tried that and it didnt change anthting, but...

I just found out that when I unlock the car from the trunk (when the car is locked and the alarm is enabled) it works fine. So for some reason there is a problem with just the driver door not disabling the alarm when the car is unlocked.

So wait, you're using the key to unlock it or the remote?

Default Might be a problem with the lock cylinder. Pull off the interior part of the door and take a look

around.

That, or get a remote.
