Does anyone know if the alarm system will tell you (audibly or visibly) if it has been set off or not?

it'll blink as if the hazard light is on BEFORE you disarm/unlock the door, no audio, just visible

My horn beeps 'quietly' and the lights flash when I lock or unlock.

Here's the situation I'm talking about. Say you're in grocery store and your car gets bumped by some skateboarding punk. The alarm goes off unknown to you. Next thing you know, you're in the check out line and when you return to your car, it's as if nothing has happened, cuz I'm assuming that the alarm only sounds for 30 seconds or so. Now...when you unlock the car, will it notify you that it's been set off while you were away?

your alarm will go off audiobily, then it shuts off after 1 min or 45 sec.

the orange blinker keeps blinking UNTIL you unlock/disarm it.
also the LED at the door blinks faster too.

just try it, open the window, arm the door and use the motion sensor to trigger the alarm
