Default Is all A4 interior trim brushed aluminum underneath the paint?

besides the wood of course.

A friend of mine told me that if you dip it in paint thinner the coating will come off and it will be brushed aluminum.

Is this true?

Default The 1.8T trim is "graphite" painted, textured aluminum

By using paint stripper, the paint and texture will come off, leaving just the bare aluminum.

Default other non aluminum trim as in wood trim??

the a4 trim i had was the fake carbon fiber looking thing...kinda grayish...

i did the mod described in the tech section and it actually came out ok...
the thinner you need to get is like aircraft paint remover or sumthing like that..and you need to apply it and wait for it to eat away the layer before you actually see the aluminum underneath...but thats if you have that particular trim..if you have wood trim i dont think it wood work..
