Default All Season Tire Recommendations

I live in Pittsburgh, PA. Need all four tires. We get some snow but we usually don't get dumped on. Looking for help in selecting something sporty as well.

Thanks!

Hey! how about Dunlop Sport A2's ? I just put them on my 1998 A4 2.8. I got mine for $111 each. I have seen other A4's with them. They are performace tires, but have some tread to them. check out trierack.com

I am also in Pittsburgh and I got mine from NTB over in monroeville (a few blocks from where I live)

Default I've been using a set of Dunlop sp5000's for my winter tire. A+++

I live in the NE. So the summer sp8000's that came with the car were more than a little scary in snow. I sold the sp8000's and bought 5 all-season (including spare) sp5000's from the Tirerack and put them on the stock 16" rims. I've had them for 2 winters and will put them on again in Nov. I've been very pleased with their performance.

Default I recently just got Bridegestone Potenza RE950

Nice tire overall. Needed a tire that was all season yet had some performance tire characteristics. Doubtful these tires well see snow since I switch to all snows in Nov or late October (NH peep here). paid about $94 thru tirerack.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires are the best.

I was going to go with the sp5000's as well, but the A2's came out and had good reviews so I thought that I'd try them. They are rated very close to the Sp5000 as far as traction in snow/wet goes.

The stock tires just plan suck for winter driving!
(in snow that is)
