Default he knows how meticulous i am about my car, and he even said "it was probably my dog".

the prints were large, and the only onther dogs in my neighborhood are little runt-poodle things, and a dalmation, which is always leashed (besides, dalmatians have small paws.)

beyond a shadow of a doubt, it was his dog.

IMO... I think yeah, he is responsible for his pet.. but maybe you should just explain the situation and probably have him pay for a wetsanding of your car... that should take out all of the scratches... and at least you won't be looking at different paint... just lose a layer of clearcoat...

Default after much consideration (thanks for all your input!) i think i will try another pass at buffing...

...from the detailer of my choice, with my $$$. this way if i am STILL unsatisfied enought to say something, i can have the point that i spent my own $$$ trying to fix it as well, but to no avail.

more next week... thanks again...

...hopefully all the scratches are removed, the work is up to your standards and you can avoid any problem w/ neighbors.
