Default Alpine GPS and Speed sensor
Hello- Does anyone know where the Speed Pulse line on a 1.8t is? I just purchased an Alpine navigation system (havn't recieved it yet) but saw in the manual it required a connection to the Speed sensor. Is there one comming into the dash already (maybe for the factory GPS unit..?)

it's on back of the radio.remove the radio and look at schematic.you're looking for gala[road speed]

Default I must be missing something, but it's a GPS receiver right?
It should be able to figure out its speed just from the GPS signals it receives.

Apparently it is more accurate for the car GPS recievers to get the speed directly from the car..

My handheld unit is always dead on with the speedo readings... weird...
