Aluminum Trim
Is the aluminum trim actually aluminum? It may sound silly to ask, but from what I've seen in the BMW 3 series, the "aluminum trim" was nothing but painted plastic. Is that so in Audi? Either way, does it get easily scratched up around the gearshift and center console area?
I'm considering ordering a 2004 A4 3.0 Quattro Tiptronic w/ Premium, Sport (or UltraSport), and Cold Weather Pkgs. From what I hear the UltraSport will come with Ebony perforated leather seats and aluminum trim. For the long term, do you think it's better to get wood instead?

yes it is. I live in JAX also if you want to see it. I would say that it doesn't scratch easily in
normal use but you wouldn't want to just take a nail and mark it because it will scratch.
