people tend to walk over in the garages and ask what's in it.
they always looked puzzled when I tell it's a 1.8 and they see only 4 cyl.
I do the same because I'm curious what's passing me and what I'm passing, and what I'm having fun with doing the same laps times.
I had an E46 M3 driver speechless when he came over after a session that I flashed my high beams at him to let me pass on the long straight. He thought it was a chipped S4. He would walk away on the straight and by the 3rd or 4th turn, I was on his butt again and would've passed him there if I was aloud to pass, but you had to wait for the staight and he'd just pull away again. I got tired of it and would start my pass just as the last turn ended and went door-to-door, but it didn't matter...he'd walk away. the next lap, I set him up and stuck on his butt for the long straight and flashed my lights and went to the high side...meaning: move the fvck out of the way. within about 2-3 laps, he was well behind me. this was on Pocono North during an EMRA Time Trial practice session.
can't wait to have a bigger turbo on it and chase down bigger cars.
