Default AMAZING: I just noticed that there is an 1/8 an inche of water under the drivers seat and behind the

left seat.

It did rain a lot yesterday. But I have no idea even where the water is coming from? It also seems like when I drive a little water is leaking out of somewhere. It is possible a lot of water could have drained past where I parked my car yesterday. Or I could have ran over a large puddle.

Anyone have any idea? I am at a loss for words

Thanks!

Search. It has to do with your sunroof.

Default hmm i just searched and came up with the following...

there are drain hoses in the sunroof that run down the c pillar. The A pillar in the avant. These become clogged with dirt and cause water to run inside your car. The best way to clean them is to put compressed air to one side of the hose and blow the junk out.
Another thing that came up was that there is a drain underneath the battery. Sometimes the holes get clogged causing water to run down by the dead pedal to the back. This could also be your problem.

I searched "sun roof drain" and "water inside car"
good luck

Default Maybe, but probably not...

unless there are signs of water damage up higher than the footwell.

Default Yes, cowl and sunroof drain clogs are the number 1 cause of water in the car

They're the first things I'd check.

Default The sunroof ones sometime have to do with it...

I have seen a side trunk full of water..and the central control locking system waterlogged. Yes, it no longer worked...that was because the sunroof drained into the trunk...and the trunk plug was clogged..filling up the trunk with water. Not a fun repair..he had to pay $962 to get the car back. I was the service advisor on this one.
