Annoying problem with V1 laser detector...
I was behind a new Chevy Trailblazer in traffic today. Every time the brake lights or turn signals illuminated, my V1 laser detector went crazy. Obviously LEDs. Has anyone else seen this yet? I'll contact Valentine to see what they say.

It has to do with the red LED's. They are within the range that the V1 considers to be LIDAR.
I've just learned to live with it for now. However, my stomach still knots up every time I hear that sound.

I demoed both, ended up keeping the Escort 8500
I must be the only person who prefers the 8500, I thought the V1 had too many false beeps. In addition, I rec'd no real benefit of the arrows, which is the real selling point of the Valentine. Plus I put $100 in my pocket.
