another question- S4 Avus rims with 96 5-spoke rims
Thanks for the shocks and spring inputs.
Here is my other problem. My 96 16" 5 spoke tires are in need of replacement after 45k miles and I was think about switching to 17" avus s4 rims.
Any inputs, good, bad, heavier? is it worth it?

P.s. I am thinking about either the avus rims or 2003 5-spoke sport rims, which would you prefer on my 96 A4?

the s4 wheels are sweet
I bought some, but it turned out to be a scam... I'm supposed to be getting my money back this week, luckily. I decided to go with the 18" rs4 wheels though. there is a few good deals on both AW, audifans and ebay for the s4 setup right now.
(don't buy from scott chattaway or kellen butler from thousand oaks, ca)

Avus wheels are too heavy, and usually expensive.
I would probably go aftermarket. The 17" RS4 style wheels that came on certain 01 A4's are nice...and pretty light a 19 lbs and change.
