Default Another spark plug gap question

I picked up a set of spark plugs yesterday from a local tuner shop whom I have used in the recent past, and who is quite reputable.

They are Bosch FL7TCR triple electrode copper core plugs. The guy at the shop agreed with the common AW opinion that platinum should not be used in a turbo car (although the local Audi dealer uses "laser platinum" plugs, whatever that means).

He told me that these plugs are pregapped from the factory, and that a special tool is required to gap the triple electrodes. And according to the box, they are gapped to 1.0mm.
Converted to standard measurements, that is approximately .039"
However the standard gap for our cars is .028-.032. Should I be concerned? Or is there something about the triple electrode plugs that I can use a slightly wider gap?

Thanks,
Peter
