Default Any 2.8'ers currently using Magnecor ignition wires?

If so, have you had any problems with the wires popping off the ignition module?
Have you had to replace your spark plugs more often?
Any other issues?

I just put some on and I don't know if my old wires were wearing out of if they do make a real difference, but I notice my throttle response is more snappy (good). I figured my old wires were due for a change and that is where the loss of HP came from.

BTW: Cyberauto sells a set for the 12v engine for $58.80 + shipping. This is the best price I could find on the net.

Thanks,
Dan97A4 2.8QMSC

Default How is the fitment? Are the lengths correct? The 'popping off' issue...

...is often caused if you use too much dielectric grease.

I'd like to pick up a set of quality wires, but dont want something that fits like crap.

Default The fitment is good. The lengths are all correct. They custom make each set when an order is..

placed. The only thing I am worried about is the fitment to the ignition module (non-plug side). On the plug side they fit just as snug as the OEM's(identical connectors). I had only one not fit as tight against the ignition module as the other 5. This is the one that I fear may pop off sometime. The black rubber cover over the terminal (it provides all the friction fit), doesn't seem to be as long as the OEM's. I noticed that you could slightly move the terminal further back in this cover to get a better fit. I may do this an post before and after pics so that you can understand what I am talking about.

If my OEM wires were not physically deteriorating (I will do futher inspection to figure this out), then these wires really do give the throttle respondse an improved feel. The improvement is only noticeable in the low RPM range (where it is needed most anyways).
Probably around the 1500-3000 RPM range.
