<center><img src="http://www.stasisengineering.com/images/center_diff.jpg"></center><p>i found a few threads of S4's with the new diff but nothing about the performance or any opinions on the product.
if anybody is running this setup, how does it feel? or can you even feel the difference? also, is the exit on corners produce more oversteer, or is it still massive understeer?
TIA (stasis website does not offer much insight on their product)

he told me that there is a noticeable difference when accelerating out of turns and even more pronounced in wet conditions.
I will be doing that mod for next season... I'll send out my spare torsen when I have an extra $500.

The price I was given over the phone including the install at Stasis was rather enticing to say the least. I would assume it will make the car even more fun for the 8 months I get to drive in the snow too. Phil do you have the H-Sport sways on your track car?

will present a reduced load to the torsen and it will react by directing the torque to the other end of the car.
So if you are understeering and are on the power your slippage up front should be enough to cause the diff to shift power to the rear tires, reducing the demand on what the front tires have to do (pull and turn at the same time) down to just turning while the rear does the pushing.

power can go to the front when decelerating but if you think about it, that is hardly an issue. if you are powersliding and both rears break loose then power should increase at the front wheels. it will either pull you out or you will slide off the road backwards. roughly the same thing happens now in the winter.
i've read in several stasis diff threads that the stock center diff is 2:1 vs. stasis' 4:1. while it sounds like a huge change it is only going from 66% nominal to 80%. i'd rather put my money in a rear LSD and deal with the center later. too bad stasis rear diff is a fortune.
the h-sport sways rock. even on stock sport suspension (winter mode) they are incredible. i do still have to notch the bellypan just a bit for clearance.
